The panel at this year’s event will also include Elizabeth Abegg, co-founder of Spell Designs and Prinitha Govender, editor of PowerRetail in what is guaranteed to be a great final session, followed by networking drinks where you can discuss the opportunities further.

Online Fashion Success is aimed at connecting Australian Fashion and Retail Technology and is on again in two weeks, Tuesday 6th June 2017 at the University of Technology Sydney.

Julie Stevanja, founder of Stylerunner has joined another panel at the event full of Australia’s top Fashion and retail entrepreneurs. Hosted by Nick Molnar, founder of Afterpay, the Retail Innovation panel now includes Julie Stevanja, Jane Lu, founder of Showpo, Julie Mathers, founder of Flora & Fauna, Paul Greenberg, founder of DealsDirect and the National Online Retailers Association (NORA) and Gary Elphick, founder of DisruptSports .

“There is something very cool happening in Australia between local retail technology and fashion entrepreneurs,” says Online Fashion Success event director, Colman Ridge. “For example, look at Nick Molnar –  he is 26 years old and has created a new way to pay that reached the top of app downloads on iTunes this week. Afterpay’s foothold began by meeting the needs of Australian fashion entrepreneurs like Jane Lu, and Julie Stevanja.”

All three entrepreneurs will appear at Online Fashion Success, along with others like Elizabeth Abegg – founder of Spell Designs, Julie Mathers – founder of Flora & Fauna, Gary Elphick, founder of DisruptSports and Paul Greenberg who is the founder of DealsDirect and the National Online Retailers Association (NORA).

The task of guiding all this inspiration into business outcomes has been embraced by former David Jones CEO, Paul Zahra, who is now the Global Retail Advisor for PwC. Paul will have a little help from some friends, including Carl Jackson – CEO of MySale Group, Prinitha Govender – Editor of PowerRetail, Dianne Tipping – Export Council of Australia Chair, Ceinwen Evans – Head of E-commerce at Camilla and Pressy Sankaran from Criteo.

Ensuring a data point reference for the discussions, PwC will present outcomes from their 2017 Total Retail Survey of 24,000 online consumers and Oracle + Bronto will update everyone on the latest in Marketing Automation for the fashion industry.

“Australia has reached a critical mass of confidence to develop local applications and we expect them to be the best in the world. This new cloud enabled reality for Australian industry is what our event is all about, connecting local Fashion and Retail Technology leaders to engage their next big ideas. I am truly excited for what new connections come together on the day,” says Ridge.
